As featured on Season 5 Episode 6 (Slidin’ Into Home) of Pool Kings, we were hired to design a large pool with water features and a pool house on a 100 acre parcel a few miles north of Raleigh. There was a septic system and a lot of yard slope to contend with, as well as a special wood-burning heater for the home and swimming pool.

We created an amazing design complete with a large grotto and slide, vanishing edge, huge sun ledge with natural rock stepping stones that shortcut to the pool house, a flush spa that sits on an inch above the pool water, and a floating rock table inside the pool surrounded by a bench and barstools. This project highlights different textures in the design of the pool, from the smooth water of the spa to the rough splashes created by the grotto waterfall that tumbles over large stones on the vanishing edge.
