Featured in Season 5 Episode 5 (It’s About Time) of Pool Kings, The Biddle Project involved the construction of a formal pool, spa, & patio space for a family with older children who were expecting grandchildren soon. In order to give them the backyard of their dreams, we designed a lavish outdoor living space that is both beautiful, functional, and is sure to be a source of many happy family memories for years to come.

The pool and spa are formed from a mixture of natural stone, tile, and pavers, with the offset spa spilling over a beautiful champagne edge and feeding into the pool. Here, raised stone planters prominently display custom fire features and copper scupper fountains that have been faced with diamond patterned tile in order to perfectly compliment the surrounding stone.

The pool also features a stone tanning ledge that allows toddlers and young children to safely play in the water without their parents having to worry about it being too deep. Last but certainly not least, the patio is built with permeable pavers that help capture rainwater and allow it to drain directly into the ground as opposed to running off into the pool.
