We demolished and removed 2000 sq ft of concrete decking, a rotten structure, and trellis beside the pool, and an old pool equipment pump house. We left only the original concrete pool structure and “Master Pool” name plaque on the top step as homage. Next, a complete new piping system and Hayward filtration system were installed to bring the safety and efficiency of the pool to modern standards; a heater/ chiller unit was installed to keep the pool at a perfect temperature. The new pool and decking consist of Peacock pavers and coping Wet Edge Bermuda quartz pool plaster finish, and new Hayward low voltage color LED lighting. The sleek IPE wood deck meets flush with the new pavers and overlooks the pond. Design concept by Alys Protzman and Trent Lloyd. Pool and decking execution by Blue Haven Pools Raleigh.
